More Battalion Games on the Horizon!
Battalion fans will be pleased to learn that Urbansquall has teamed up with Kongregate on the development of three new games set in the Battalion universe.
Battalion: Ghosts picks up where Battalion: Nemesis left off, by continuing the battle between the insidious Akadians and the struggling Northern Federation. Battalion: Vengeance is the third and final game in the three part singleplayer series and will conclude the story with an epic showdown between the Akadians and the Northern Federation’s allies.
The final game that we are working on with Kongregate is Battalion: Arena. Arena will let armchair generals across the world meet in fierce multiplayer combat to compete for coveted titles and gear with support of up to 4 players in each game. It will feature a built-in map editor so that players can create their own maps and battle against their friends in an all out war. The map editor will ship with scripting support so that players can create their own scripted campaigns and then play them cooperatively with their friends.
Each game in the series will feature new terrain tiles and powerful new units ranging from the stealth breaking Jammer Truck through the army building Warmachine. We’ll be dropping updates here on our blog as development continues, with sneak peaks at the new units and terrain tiles and how you can use them to crush your opponents. Cannot wait! Do you have specific (or even general) release dates for Battalion: Ghosts and Battalion: Vengence? I loved Nemesis, and can’t wait to see the plot and storyline expand further. Oh, and playing with (And blowing up opponent) shiny new units won’t be bad either…

I never have seen Battalion Nemesis 2 and Freedom, only: Battalion Nemesis, Skirmish, Arena, Ghosts and i want to see soon, Battalion Vengeance.
